Caylee Anthony’s

“They have every right to say what they want to say,” said George in his interview with Rodriguez. “Because they are controlling that. And I understand that. We’re just here to help in any way we can- just a little bit of support. I’ll stand in the background. I’m not gonna be there in the forefront. I never was at the beginning. I was just offering some support, some moral support and some way that he could possibly bring more awareness for his child. That’s what I was trying to help with … And if he called and said, George I need you help, I’d still be there to help him. I’m not going to stop unless he tells me to stop. But I understand. It’s a tough situation for everybody.”

Cindy must think they are the only ones that can work miracles. Where the hell were they when their precious granddaughter, Caylee Marie Anthony was murdered? How come they weren’t there to help that child? Cindy told Rodriguez, “You know that one exposure of your child’s face out there could be that one time. So, you know, to him I say, you made a mistake.”

Then Cindy really pushed it by trying to take the credit for Haleigh’s disappearance getting all the attention it has gotten. This woman just can’t stand not being in the spotlight. She said, “We’re the ones who got national attention for their daughter the first night, because I was on the phone with national media. And that was the day of Caylee’s memorial, February 10. We had just gotten home from her memorial and heard about Haleigh. So we hurried up and made desperate phone calls to people in the national media to say ‘Hey, start covering the story.’ And that was a day I should have been home just worrying about myself.”

I almost fell over when I read that one. Is there anything this woman won’t do or say to keep in the spotlight? When George supposedly attempted suicide and had miracles working on him that cured his mental problems practically overnight and he was getting all the attention and apparently she couldn’t handle that. She had to go on TV and say she also had thought about suicide too and even wrote a suicide note also. She said she thought this BEFORE Caylee was found though. You know at the time when she got mad because Tim Miller was looking for either a live or a dead Caylee. That is when she ran him off. If she thought Caylee was truly alive why would she think about suicide.

This sounded to me like she is one they never could say ‘no’ to Casey before and now that they have had enough of her BS it is too late. They blew up with each other and Casey took it out on Caylee to hurt them. Now Conway is claiming that the police don’t believe that there are any other suspects in Caylee’s death but he says there is reason to believe that other people were involved. “I think there’s a lot of facts out there being held back by the defense and rightfully so,” said Conway. “All those will come out at the trial. So I think people’s opinions will change.” I think if there was anyone else involved it was after she killed Caylee and that was to help her dispose of the body.

I sincerely doubt anyone would change their mind. After all this time if there was some way Casey could have gotten off this by giving us proof she didn’t do it they would have done it by now. She would not be giving up her freedom all this time (not to mention all the time added between now and the actual time of the trial). What are we going to hear, that Casey didn’t do this, her mother or father or brother did it and she is only protecting them until she goes to trial, then she is going to turn on them? Or are we going to hear that Caylee did it herself playing? Or is she going to tell us it was an accident and she got scared? OK I could have accepted that when this first happened had she called 911 right away but now, a year later, is too late to be calling it an accident. She has destroyed lives along her path and now they want us to believe anything she says? That is BS too. As for her bozo lawyer, well I don’t believe anything that man says either. I don’t believe anything any of them say.

Awareness Bracelet Craze

Ever since Lance Armstrong started the silicone wristband craze with the release of his yellow "LIVESTRONG" wristbands, millions of people worldwide have discovered a new and effective method of supporting their favorite causes. Today, there is almost every color imaginable to be found on these ubiquitous silicone bracelets; each one performing their part in raising awareness for a multitude of diseases and causes. What does the future hold for this latest fad to take our society (and a plethora of others worldwide) by storm?

Fashionable Fad

Although silicone wristbands have become incredibly popular, it is exceptionally difficult to argue that they are the height of fashion. Even with the cachet factor, it is essential to remember that they are made of rubber. Very few consumers are choosing to wear their awareness bracelets to the ball or senior prom. However, this does not translate into these wristbands as being "unfashionable" either. Indeed, silicone wristbands have become a "fashionable fad." A fad, by definition, is a "short-lived fashion…something that is embraced very enthusiastically for a short time, especially by many people." Undoubtedly, many people have enthusiastically embraced silicone bracelets. But, just how short-lived is this awareness bracelet craze?

From Fad to Mainstay

Simple market analysis reveals to us a dichotomy in the silicone wristband industry. Retail sales are beginning to lag, yet manufacturers are producing silicone bracelets in record quantities, with no end in sight. How is this possible? Simple. The fad is fading but a new, effective, and inexpensive mainstay has taken its place – the custom silicone wristband. Silicone bracelets have already proven themselves effective for fundraising. Now, their fully customized cousins are proving even more effective at targeting a variety of smaller causes, and they are making a dramatic push into corporate promotions and trade shows. Custom silicone wristbands are being adopted by small non-profit organization, large corporations, and everything in between as a powerful tool for spreading their message, promoting their brand, and announcing new products or even entirely new businesses. Is the key chain a fad? Is the coffee mug, pen, calendar, mouse pad, or T-shirt a fad? No, these items are here to stay. Custom silicone wristbands are here to stay as well. Customized bracelets are more than just a simple promotional or fundraising item. They are walking billboards. Human nature dictates that we share anything that we have received free with practically everyone we meet. If we have purchased a custom silicone wristband to support our local sports team, church youth group, or favorite small charity, human nature often dictates that we share this good deed as well.

The Bottom Line

The bottom line is that custom silicone wristbands can and will be used by all types of organizations large and small. They are an inexpensive and incredibly effective marketing tool that puts an exciting twist on word-of-mouth advertising and viral marketing. Organizations are beginning to realize that an investment of mere pennies per wristband has the potential to reach dozens of prospective customers with each fully customized bracelet introduced into their target market. In addition, local schools, churches, and small non-profit organizations recognize the benefits of bolstering school spirit or spreading their message while raising funds at the same time. So, if you are looking for the silicone bracelet fad to fade any time soon, look again. Custom silicone wristbands are not only here to stay, you can expect to see even more of them as everyone from small local churches to huge corporate conglomerates jump on board. With the possible combinations of colors, messages, designs, and even sizes being infinite, creative minds everywhere will be looking to haess the power of the custom silicone wristband.

Three kidnapped German children still missing, Yemen's interior ministry

The three bodies of the three women kidnapped last Friday and killed last Monday arrived to Sana'a on a helicopter accompanied by deputy Minister of Health. Three German Children aged 3-4 years old that were among the nine kidnapped are still missing along with another three a German and his wife and a British national, said security source.

The British Embassy in Yemen said that they are deeply concerned about the reports that some bodies were found in the area. "We are working closely with the Yemeni authorities to establish more details," said a spokesperson at the British Embassy in Yemen.

The whereabouts of the remaining six abducted people including the children is not known until now unlike what some news wires are circulating, a source at the Ministry of Interior told the Yemen Observer on the phone.

Anti-terrorists teams with helicopters are sweeping the area of Sa'adah around the clock where the nine foreigners were kidnapped in the district of Akwan and where the three bodies of the two German women and the Korean woman were found in Wadi Nashoor.

Security units in cooperation with the army are working around the clock in the area until the perpetrators of this hideous crime are put in top justice, said a security source at the Ministry of Interio.

Man arrested over child rape

Police in Nairobi have arrested a man they say is a paedophile and leader of a gang of child rapists.

He was seized at a photo studio where he had gone to have pictures of naked children and of himself processed.

The management of the studio called the police and child protection activists on seeing the pictures.

He is being held at Industrial Area Police Station awaiting trial.

Investigations

The Nairobi Central police boss Tito Kilonzo said they were carrying out investigations to track down buyers of the pictures.

Police sources said on being interrogated over the photos, the suspected paedophile, who also runs a pharmacy in the city, said it was his hobby.

Nominated MP Millie Odhiambo (pictured) said the man should be made to reveal names of other suspects in Mukuru Kwa Njenga slum.

“The pictures reveal the underworld of child rape and trafficking. This is an opportunity to unmask the identity of the criminals and the poor parents being lured to expose their children to such heinous crimes,” she said.

The pictures, which the Nation has seen, show torture, mutilation and sexual abuse of children.

Was warned

The suspect, who was described by the studio owners in Hurlingham as a frequent customer, initially brought photographs of naked old women, but was warned.
