Design for Humanity, Billabong's charitable initiative, will benefit charity: water (charitywater.org), a non-profit organization that works to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. One hundred percent of ticket sale proceeds will go to charity: water.

Billabong's 3rd Annual Design for Humanity event will bring together the worlds of fashion, art and music through a spectacular series of events in a high energy setting. The event will feature a Billabong runway fashion show with unique celebrity designs, an art show and auction, special live music performances, DJs and much more.

This year's fashion show will feature Billabong fashion and swimsuit pieces with one-of-a-kind collaborations from celebrities like Olivia Thirlby and Katie White of The Ting Tings, which will be auctioned off on-site with 100% of the proceeds going to charity: water.

Supermodel, Tori Praver has also created an exclusive bikini, a hanky tie bandeau with a skimpy boy bottom swimsuit, which will debut on the catwalk and will be offered as a part of Billabong's Cruise 2010 collection. Billabong's Design for Humanity will donate $5 from the sale of each Tori Praver bikini to charity: water.

Before the show takes place, guests are invited upstairs to Avalon's Bardot for the art exhibit and silent auction, which will feature works by well-known industry artists, Barry McGee, Geoff McFetridge, Steven Harrington and Wolfgang Bloch. Art will be listed on eBay beginning June 9th through June 16th with a "buy it now" option. All art will be previewed in the gallery and available pieces will be sold during the silent auction at the event.

Following the fashion show, indie rockers Iglu & Hartly will heat up the stage and captivate the crowd before rock sensations The Airborne Toxic Event perform their top hits. Already climbing the charts across America and Great Britain, together, Iglu & Hartly and The Airborne Toxic Event will leave their audience with a performance and experience that they will never forget.

Toddler missing, mother suspected

Detectives from the Portland Police Bureau's Missing Person's Unit are looking for a missing toddler who is believed to be with her biological mother, who is currently wanted on an outstanding felony warrant. 23-month-old Alexis Arnold had been living with her maternal grandmother, under a voluntary agreement with the child's mother, 19-year-old Tiffanie Rae Lewis. On Sunday night, May 31st, Lewis unexpectedly removed the child from a relatives Southeast Portland residence during a visit.

Detectives do not believe Lewis committed any crime in taking Alexis, and they do not believe the child's mother would intentionally harm her. Detectives are concerned for the child's safety and welfare due to the outstanding felony warrant and because of the mother's history.

Alexis is described as a white female, 23 months old, two feet tall, 23 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. There is no clothing description available.

Lewis is described as a white female, 19-years-old, 5'4" tall, weighing 110 pounds. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. Lewis has a tattoo of three dots on her left hand, and has piercings in her ears, lips and tongue. There is no clothing description available.

Ocoee, FL- There has been an arrest, on an unrelated charge, of the person last known to see missing Ocoee woman, Tracy Ocasio alive in the early morning hours of May 28th. James Virgil Hataway was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia as police executed a search warrant on his home in their efforts to find Tracy.

The Center for Educational Advancement (CEA) would like to thank all those that made our 14th Annual Friendship Recognition Dinner Dance a success. This year's Dinner Dance was held at The Bridgewater Manor. The event effectively honored and recognized award recipients: The Ahmed Family, Jackie Etter of Acorn Montessori School, The F.I.S.H. Foundation, Inc., Johanna Foods, Inc., Deputy Mayor of Raritan Township John King, and Congressman Leonard Lance.

The event raised almost $16,000 that will be used for CEA's Employment Services Group. CEA is a not-for-profit organization committed to empowering people with special needs, through employment and education. CEA provides training and support, helping individuals achieve independence through a paycheck.

We are especially grateful to Denise Lockwood Clark for chairing this affair, the event committee and CEA staff for their hard work.
