Detectives from the Portland Police Bureau's Missing Person's Unit are looking for a missing toddler who is believed to be with her biological mother, who is currently wanted on an outstanding felony warrant. 23-month-old Alexis Arnold had been living with her maternal grandmother, under a voluntary agreement with the child's mother, 19-year-old Tiffanie Rae Lewis. On Sunday night, May 31st, Lewis unexpectedly removed the child from a relatives Southeast Portland residence during a visit.Detectives do not believe Lewis committed any crime in taking Alexis, and they do not believe the child's mother would intentionally harm her. Detectives are concerned for the child's safety and welfare due to the outstanding felony warrant and because of the mother's history.
Alexis is described as a white female, 23 months old, two feet tall, 23 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. There is no clothing description available.
Lewis is described as a white female, 19-years-old, 5'4" tall, weighing 110 pounds. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. Lewis has a tattoo of three dots on her left hand, and has piercings in her ears, lips and tongue. There is no clothing description available.
