Fund-raising

The Center for Educational Advancement (CEA) would like to thank all those that made our 14th Annual Friendship Recognition Dinner Dance a success. This year's Dinner Dance was held at The Bridgewater Manor. The event effectively honored and recognized award recipients: The Ahmed Family, Jackie Etter of Acorn Montessori School, The F.I.S.H. Foundation, Inc., Johanna Foods, Inc., Deputy Mayor of Raritan Township John King, and Congressman Leonard Lance.

The event raised almost $16,000 that will be used for CEA's Employment Services Group. CEA is a not-for-profit organization committed to empowering people with special needs, through employment and education. CEA provides training and support, helping individuals achieve independence through a paycheck.

We are especially grateful to Denise Lockwood Clark for chairing this affair, the event committee and CEA staff for their hard work. A special thank to our sponsors: Paul Appleby, Ardito & Co., L.L.P., Bihler of America, Johanna Foods, Inc., PNC Bank, PSE&G, TEAM Capital Bank and Willis HRH. We'd also like to express our gratitude to those who contributed to our silent auction and advertised in our program book, adding to the success of this occasion. Finally, our appreciation goes to all those in attendance.

CEA will host its 18th Annual Golf Classic scheduled for Sept. 10 at the Copper Hill Country Club in Flemington.
