With the rapid development of social economy, the pace of our modern life has been hastened to the largest extent. Everyday we are driven by the press of our life, work and study. Money-earning is the primary pursuit of the common people in the world. A hoary old question now has been placed onto the table for everyone to reconsider seriously, health or wealth? In other words, should we be in hot pursuit of large quantity of fortune or seek the true happiness and essence of life endowed by Jesus Christ?

What I really mean here is that we should live a more meaningful and colorful life. In my opinion, keeping a certain or an assortment of hobbies is a wise choice. In this way, we can kill our free time by engaging ourselves in something interesting and attractive, in sprite of the fact that sometimes it (or they) might prove to be money-costing or time-spending.

I once heard a story about an old woman kept a puppy dog as her pet. The hobby of pet-keeping, according to her proclamation, is beneficial for her, both mentally and physically. For one thing, the puppy dog needs careful attending. In this way, the old lady, from time to time, busies herself in getting the pet dog food, walking the dog after supper. Regular exercise builds her a strong heart and flexible limbs. On the other hand, the lovely puppy dog often plays with her, thus guaranteeing her a pleasant mood. What is the most surprising is that the old lady said she enjoyed having supper on the table with her dog. How fantastic.
